FAQs
You’re probably wondering.
Is my first drop-in game really free?
Yes. Your first BRODIE® drop-in costs $0 in Burlington, Oakville and Winnipeg, and the Wingman™ uniform is included. After that, a drop-in game is CA$50.
Is a drop-in a real league game?
Yes. You play a full BRODIE® league game with two refs, a shot clock, a scoreboard and a scorekeeper. Our media team films it, and your stats go up in the BRODIE app.
Do I need a team?
No. Come on your own. When you sign up, pick an open spot on a team or let us place you, and you play alongside a BRODIE® Ambassador.
What level will I play at?
You choose your division when you sign up, from D6 Beginner to D1 Elite. Not sure where you fit? Take the skill test in the sign-up. Each night shows which levels have open spots.
What do I bring?
Indoor basketball shoes and a water bottle. Your BRODIE Wingman™ uniform is waiting for you at check-in, and it's yours to keep.
Do I need an account or the app?
You need a free BRODIE athlete account to claim your spot. You can create one with email or Google at checkout. The BRODIE app is optional and free on iPhone and Android. It's where your stats, film and standings land after the game.
What happens after my free game?
Keep playing. Drop in again for CA$50 a game, or join for the rest of the season. Your League Manager will give you a personalized price and find you the best spot on a team.
Where can I drop in?
In three cities: Burlington (The Playground, 952 Century Dr), Oakville (Shoot 360, 89 Loyalist Trl #10) and Winnipeg (Dakota Fieldhouse, 1188 Dakota St). Pick your night when you sign up. More cities are coming soon.
