Brodie Athletes, we’ve got some exciting news that’ll make your next season even sweeter. Not only are you apart of proving athletes live forever, but now your Brodie League registration fees might be reimbursed through select extended health benefits programs offered by your employer!
If your employer offers an extended health or wellness benefits account, your Brodie League expenses could be covered under the right plan. This means you could get the NBA experience for FREE!
For your Brodie League registration to be eligible for reimbursement, the type of benefits account matters. Here’s a quick rundown:
Manulife:
Your registration fees are eligible if your benefits include a supplemental wellness/lifestyle benefit account (note: standard HCSA won’t qualify).
Sun Life:
Your registration fees are eligible if your benefits include a Personal Spending Account (PSA) rather than the standard HSA.
Canada Life:
Your registration fees are eligible if your benefits include a wellness or lifestyle spending account or healthy living account in addition to (or instead of) the standard HCSA.
Blue Cross (Alberta):
Your registration fees are eligible if your benefits include a wellness/lifestyle account, not the traditional HSA.
Before you sign up for the season, here’s a quick guide to ensure you can take advantage of this perk:
Play for free through insurance
Go to your companies HR and ask if there’s an extended health benefit or spending account for employees to spend on health related products
If they say yes
Ask if the Brodie League can be covered, in most cases it should be a yes
Ask how much
You can spend with your benefits
Ask how to submit
Invoices to the insurance to get reimbursed
Finally purchase a Brodie season
And send the invoice to your companies insurance portal and get reimbursed

Yes! If you are a returning or new player and sign up before our jersey deadline, we can customize your jerseys size, number, and name.
Brodie offers six divisions:
Our team works to ensure you're placed at the right level.
Jersey selection is first-come, first-served — the earlier you register, the better your chances of getting your preferred design. During sign-up, rank your top 5 jersey style preferences. Most teams receive one of their top 5 choices. If none are available, your Team Captain will be contacted with remaining options.
Full refund up to 14 days before week one. Within 14 days, store credit. Once games begin, no refunds — that's standard across leagues. Email your commissioner for jersey or roster issues. If you still don't love your experience, you get your money back. 100% guaranteed.
Eight regular-season games, playoffs & championship games for qualifying teams. Custom Wingman™ uniform by BRL Studio.
