Divisions.
Levels, Formats And Big Nights.
Every single athlete matters. Period. Six levels, from first-timer to pro.

D6 is for athletes who have never played organized basketball. No experience required, just the willingness to show up, learn and grow.

D5 is for athletes stepping into organized ball for the first time: building confidence, finding their footing and competing on a real court.

D4 is for players sharpening their skills, improving their game IQ and showing flashes of potential. This is the space between learning and competing.

D3 players are consistent, confident and ready to compete at pace. You know the systems, the flow, and you bring it every night.

D2 is made for high-level players refining their edge, preparing for exposure and proving they belong in the top tier.

D1 is for the most dominant and skilled players in the league. This is where the game slows down, the lights get brighter and every move matters.

Quick answers to the most asked questions. Still stuck? The team usually replies within 1–2 business days.

How Do Playoffs And Finals Work?
Playoffs start after the regular season and are single elimination, ending with Finals night. In divisions of eight or more teams, the top eight go through. To play in the playoffs, register before the season starts, or play at least three games if you join mid-season. Champions take home rings, a championship trophy, an MVP belt and championship tees.
Are My Games Filmed? Where Do I See My Stats?
Yes. Every BRODIE game is filmed and streamed live on BallerTV, where you can rewatch it during the season. Your photos and videos go up in the athlete photo portal about 4 to 5 days after your game, and weekly highlights are posted on Instagram. Your stats show up in the BRODIE app and on the website within 1 to 3 days.
What Is The Culture Cup?
The Culture Cup is a BRODIE tournament that brings communities together through basketball, food and music. It was started by Paul Wandili, one of our League Managers. The 2026 edition brought together the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Jamaica, each in its own custom kit. It runs outside the regular season, so follow BRODIE on Instagram for the next one.
How Does The All-Star Game Work?
At the end of the regular season, the top athletes by stats are nominated and fans vote on Instagram. The athletes with the most votes are invited by email, and every division is eligible. All-Stars get All-Star jerseys on game night, and the game is streamed live.
What's In The Welcome Pack?
Every athlete gets a Welcome Pack with their uniform (jersey and shorts), plus a wristband, lanyard, credential tag and postcard. Register before your season's personalized jersey deadline to get your name and number on the jersey. You pick it up when you check in for your first game.
When Does The Next Season Start?
BRODIE runs four seasons a year: Coldest Winter (December to February), Bracket Season (March to May), Brodie Summer (June to August) and Slasher Season (September to November). Coldest Winter '27 tips off in December, on each venue's first game night. Pick your venue at registration to see your exact date.
What Happens On Media Day?
Media Day is in week 2 of every season. The BRODIE media team shoots pro portraits of every athlete in their Wingman™ jersey. There are no makeup days, so be there.
How Long Is A Season?
About twelve weeks. You play eight regular-season games in Fall and Winter (nine in Spring and Summer), then playoffs and Finals Night for the teams that qualify.
Is There A 35+ League?
BRODIE 35+ runs at select venues, built for the O.G.s and legends of the game. Pick your city when you register to see what runs near you, or contact us and we’ll point you to the closest one.
Is There A Women’s League?
Yes. Our first women’s league runs in Atlanta. Women can also play BRODIE Co-Ed at select venues.
Is There A Co-Ed League?
Yes, at select venues. BRODIE Co-Ed rosters have at least three women, with at least one on the floor at all times. Pick your city when you register to see if Co-Ed runs near you.
What’s Included In A BRODIE Season?
Eight regular-season games, plus playoffs and championship games for qualifying teams. Refs and a shot clock every game, a custom Wingman™ uniform by BRL Studio, a pro-style Media Day, every game filmed with highlights, and the BRODIE app with your stats, badges and team chat. Winning teams take home rings, belts and banners.
Which Level Should I Play?
Pick the division that sounds like you.
- D6 Beginner: you’ve never played organized basketball
- D5 Rookie: your first time in a league
- D4 Rec: you’ve played rec league before
- D3 Inter: solid recreational players
- D2 Comp: experienced league veterans
- D1 Elite: former college or pro level
Not every venue runs every level. Our team makes sure you’re placed at the right one.
