Brodie Summer lives in that energy and the Summer Big 6 collection translates it into a uniform collection that connects the basketball culture of Summer League to the iconic gaming heritage of vintage Las Vegas with a connective thread between the Strip and the teams that occupy Vegas each summer.

The Inspiration

Every Big 6 edition is built on a connected thread: a landmark casino from the golden age of the Strip and the NBA franchise whose Summer League aesthetic echoes that property's visual DNA. The Sands Edition pulls inspiration from the legacy hardwood energy of Chicago — a franchise defined by the most iconic individual performance in basketball history, and the understanding that true greatness arrives without announcement. It simply performs.

That palette maps directly onto the Sands Hotel, which opened in 1952 as the permanent address of the Rat Pack. Sinatra, Davis Jr., Martin — the Copa Room stage at the Sands was where cool was defined and where the most effortless performers in the world made the difficult look inevitable. The Sands never needed to shout. Everyone already knew.

The Design

The jersey body is built on a clean pinstripe structure. Thin vertical lines run the full length of the jersey from shoulder to hem, uninterrupted — a direct reference to the sharp tailoring of the Rat Pack era and to the classic road whites that defined Chicago's dynasty years. The pinstripes are precise and deliberate. Nothing about this jersey is accidental.

The dominant design detail is the card suit stack down both side panels. Club, heart, spade, diamond — the four suits are rendered large and bold in black, stacked vertically from chest to hip on each side of the jersey. This is not trim-scale detail work. This is a graphic statement, the casino floor brought directly onto the court in the language of the player who knows exactly what hand they're holding.

The front carries the BRODIE wordmark in bold arched lettering. The number sits centred below in the same red. The back mirrors the front with the edition name arched across the shoulders and the number below. A Brodie script signature marks the lower back hem. Co-branding badge at the chest.

The Details

Each of the Big 6 editions carries its own tail tag mantra: a custom motivation paired with original artwork that pays homage to the Strip and the passionate players who put it all on the line for the game. The Sands Edition tells its athlete exactly who they are the moment they put it on: bet on yourself.

Every detail is custom. Custom patterns, templates, from digital design to fabrication and finishings. This is not a blank pulled from a digital catalogue. This is a uniform designed from concept to finished product with the same conviction our athletes have to our league and brand.

Flip the Switch

For the first time in Brodie history, every squad gets the opportunity to Go All In with a home and away jersey. That is a franchise-level offering. Professional teams have home and away. College programs have home and away. Now Brodie athletes do too. The call to action for entire squads is "Flip The Switch."

The Big 6 collection brings this to life through a creative system of litemode and darkmode.

Litemode is the home design. A clean white ground with red pinstripes running the full length of the jersey. The BRODIE wordmark and numbers hit in red. The card suits stack down the side panels in black — high contrast, maximum impact, nothing softened. This is the Sands Copa Room at showtime, bright lights, every line sharp, the crowd already on their feet before you touch the floor.

Darkmode is the away design. The same pinstripe structure, the same card suit side panels, the same typographic system — but the ground shifts to Chicago flag powder blue. The red type holds. The black suits hold. The blue doesn't cool the energy, it grounds it in place. This is the city itself. This is Chicago on the road in Vegas, and everybody in the building already knows the name.

The Big 6 collection exists because we refused to accept the standard this industry set. Other leagues offer off-the-shelf blanks with a screen-printed logo and call it a uniform. We chose a different path — one that demands more time, more craft, and more conviction, but delivers something an athlete has never held in their hands from a recreational league.

The Sands Edition carries the energy of the property that understood restraint as its own form of power. The Copa Room never needed to fill the whole Strip with noise.
