Overview

BRODIE® has raised CA$5 million / US$3.6 million in seed funding led by Golden Ventures and Lerer Hippeau.
The round funds a rebuilt player app, the league's content infrastructure, and a repeatable market-expansion model.
Brodie operates 600+ games per week across 35 locations, producing roughly 30,000 pieces of content weekly.
Brodie Check-In launched league-wide in September, putting every athlete's attendance on record.
BetaKit covers the raise from Toronto.

BetaKit went inside the software that runs the league.

The Brodie App got a major rebuild after our raise; the scheduling and roster layer, and BRODIE® Check-In. Here’s what Connor has to say about it:

“After every game, you see this many threes, this many steals, here's how it compares against your average... We're just proving that just because you get older doesn't mean that your sports career has to die.”

600+ events a week across 25 locations in 35 cities. 30,000 pieces of content a week. The gym is the half you can see. This is the other half.
