Where can I play adult rec basketball in the GTA?
BRODIE® runs adult rec basketball at six venues in the GTA: Vaughan, at Vaughan Sportsplex II (8301 Keele St, Vaughan), on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; Brampton, at Game 6 (241 Trade Valley Dr, Woodbridge), on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays; Oakville, at Shoot 360 Oakville (89 Loyalist Trail, Oakville), on Sundays; Oshawa, at Ajax High School (105 Bayly St E, Ajax), on Thursdays and Sundays; Mississauga, at St. Jude’s A.C. Dome (6750 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga), on Mondays; and Markham, at Kings Square Sports Centre (9390 Woodbine Ave, Markham), on Mondays. You register for one venue and play your whole season there.
When does the Winter ’27 season start in the GTA?
Winter ’27 tips off on each venue’s first game night: Vaughan on Tuesday, Dec 1; Brampton, Oakville and Oshawa on Sunday, Dec 6; Mississauga and Markham on Monday, Dec 7. Regular season first, then playoffs, with finals between Feb 22 and Feb 28.
What skill levels can I play in the GTA?
Every venue runs D5 Rookie, D4 Rec and D3 Inter. Vaughan, Brampton, Oshawa and Mississauga also run D2 Comp. D5 Rookie is for your first time in a league. D4 Rec is for athletes who have played rec league before. D3 Inter is for years of pickup and competitive runs. D2 Comp is for athletes who played high school ball. Not sure where you fit? Take the skill test when you register.
Do I need a team to sign up?
No. Register as a free agent and we place you on a team at your level. Got a crew? Register as a captain and send your teammates your team link.
What’s included in a BRODIE season?
Refs and a shot clock every game, every game filmed, a jersey with your name on it, and your schedule, stats and standings in the BRODIE app. Same standard at every venue in the GTA.
